Luna Parc: Psychedelic Wonderland in the Woods

Upon entering the gates to Luna Parc, you are awestruck at the immensity of the project Boscarino has been building in the woods for all these years. The Hillside Cemetery Spill of 1902

A torrential downpour in August of 1902 caused the Spring Garden Brook in Madison to overflow, having enough momentum to break up the drainage ditches the flash flood ran through Hillside Cemetery on Main Street and washed out 59 graves. Continue reading

The Devil’s Tree

They say that at one time a farmer killed his entire family, then went to the tree to hang himself. According to some, numerous suicides and murders occurred around the evil arbor. Supposedly anyone who tries to cut down the tree comes to an untimely end, as it is now cursed. Continue reading

Mysterious Lights of Slabtown Road

In Salem County off of Route 40 in Woodstown is Slabtown Rd. The road starts out between two fields, before cutting through a small section of woods. Small white lights appear in the trees, on the road and on the grass, but not in midair. You can touch the lights but you can’t get rid of them. Continue reading
